
Submission Guidelines
We exclusively accept submissions via online screener through FilmFreeway.com.
For selected films, the exhibition format should be an MP4 file. We will notify filmmakers if a change in our screening location necessitates DCP or MOV formats. We do not accept submissions in DVD, Blu-ray, or hard copy formats. There is no restriction on the film's production date. We encourage filmmakers to submit both their early and recent works.
Rules for Submissions By submitting your film, you acknowledge and agree to the following: You have read, understood, and fully comply with all submission eligibility information, Submission Guidelines, Terms and Conditions of Entry, and Entry Eligibility requirements. To the best of your knowledge, all statements in your submission are true. The submitted film is not subject to any current or threatened litigation.
You are duly authorised to submit this film to the festival. You hold the Almere International Film Festival from the Netherlands, its owners, management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc., harmless from any damage to the print(s) or media materials(s) during transit or while in the festival's possession.You hold the Almere International Film Festival from the Netherlands, its owners, management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc., harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from your entry.
You certify that you possess full rights to the use of all music included in the entered work.You grant permission to the Almere International Film Festival from the Netherlands to use stills, trailers, titles, copy, and/or information for promotional purposes. Physical awards and paper certificates will only be distributed to winners present at the event, subject to availability. All winners will receive a downloadable award certificate via email upon request after the online announcement.You grant permission to the Almere International Film Festival from the Netherlands to screen the submitted film at the Festival both live and online.
If your film is selected, you will provide the Almere International Film Festival from the Netherlands with a digital copy of your film's movie poster in a vertical format for use on the festival website, social media and for the print materials.
